Tom “Chomp” Trampe, the star of the best Eagles fan video to ever hit the internet, is officially cancer free.

After undergoing emergency brain surgery earlier in 2026, Trampe battled leukemia for the better part of the past 7 months. This weekend, he posted a video of him ringing the bell, telling the world he’s officially cancer free.

Trampe became an internet sensation in 2020 when he offered to suit up for the Birds.

First off, I had no idea the viral “two years varsity” video was made just six years ago. I could’ve swore this thing has existed my entire life. Nevertheless, it’s the best representation of an Eagles fan anyone has managed to put to film.

This dude just gets it, and when the news broke if his condition, the entire Eagles community reached out. Jason Kelce gave a donation, as well as hundred of Birds fans across the tri-state area.

Not only did this tough son of a bitch beat cancer, he did it just in time for Birds season. It really doesn’t get any better than that.
