Eagles Fans of Philly Nashville Takeover

Eagles fans complete the takeover of Nashville with a 24-20 win over the Titans

We told you it was going to be a takeover, and Nashville got the full experience. In its final season, Nissan Stadium has never witnessed a visiting fan invasion quite like the one that went down on September 20. Eagles fans had a massive presence in and around the Titans’ home stadium ahead of the noon kickoff, and it was a sight to behold from Broadway all the way to the stadium gates.

The Numbers Were Staggering

This wasn’t a few scattered green jerseys. Social media posts as early as September 17 showed Eagles fans packed onto Nashville-bound flights, and that continued all weekend long as Birds fans flocked in by the thousands.

By the time the Titans came out for pregame introductions, the reaction from the crowd was a genuine mix of cheers and boos, which tells you everything about how much of that building belonged to Philadelphia.

Nashville has been a visiting-fan destination before, that’s no secret. Notable Titans home games where opposing fans made an impact include the 2019 games against the Bills and Chiefs, the 2012 game against the Bears, and the 2024 Vikings game that turned the stands purple but this Eagles takeover belongs right up there with the best of them, and honestly, it may have topped them all.

Shoutout Phans of Philly

That impact is, in large part, thanks to Phans of Philly, who brought Eagles fans to Nashville by the thousands dating all the way back to last week.

The impact was unmistakable, visible everywhere from the streets of Broadway to the seats at Nissan Stadium. When you can turn any opposing team’s home game into what feels like a Philly home game, that’s a special kind of fanbase, and it doesn’t happen without an operation like this making it seamless.

We’ve been rolling with Phans of Philly on Eagles road trips for four years now, and the record when The Liberty Line travels with them speaks for itself:

  • 2022: at Arizona Cardinals (Win)
  • 2023: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Win)
  • 2023: at Los Angeles Rams (Win)
  • 2023: at Kansas City Chiefs (Win)
  • 2024: at New Orleans Saints (Win)
  • 2024: at Los Angeles Rams (Win)
  • 2025: at Green Bay Packers (Win)
  • 2025: at Dallas Cowboys (Loss)
  • 2026: at Tennessee Titans (Win)

The Liberty Line is now 8-1 when traveling with Phans of Philly. We almost went perfect until that Dallas trip last year, in a game the Eagles absolutely should have won. But Nashville goes right back in the win column, and the streak of good vibes rolls on. When we show up, the Birds show up. It’s science at this point.

The Easiest Way to Catch an Eagles Road Game

Here’s the whole appeal for anyone thinking about joining next time. Phans of Philly handles everything. Flights, tickets, hotels, activities, transportation, tailgates, itineraries, all of it. Your only job is to get to the airport and make your flight. From there, they take care of the rest. No stress, no logistics, no headaches, just show up and enjoy the ride.

Even if you’ve got your own travel plans, or you happen to live in whatever area the Birds are playing in, you’re still covered. Tailgate passes and game tickets are available separately, so there are a million different ways to jump in on the action.

Nashville was a blast, the takeover was legendary, and the Eagles left town 2-0. That’s about as good as a road weekend gets. On to the next one, and we’ll see you out there.
