Eagles Injury Report Friday Panthers

Eagles Injury Report on Friday was absolutely insane

The Eagles put out their final injury report of the week on Friday, and it had 25 names on it. Crunching some numbers here and that’s nearly half the active roster dealing with something heading into Sunday against the Panthers. Not good.

Eagles Injury Report is INSANE lol

In Other Words…

Here’s the damage.

Out:

  • Jalen Hurts (calf)
  • Saquon Barkley (hamstring)
  • Will Shipley (foot)
  • Michael Carter II (abdomen)
  • Jalyx Hunt (knee/ankle)

Doubtful:

  • A.J. Epenesa (back)

Questionable:

  • Landon Dickerson (knee)
  • Drew Kendall (knee)
  • Jakorian Bennett (knee)
  • Grant Calcaterra (back)
  • Eli Stowers (quad)

Full participants with no game status: Zack Baun, Hollywood Brown, Jihaad Campbell, Jalen Carter, Arnold Ebiketie, Marcus Epps, Jonathan Greenard, E.J. Jenkins, Fred Johnson, Mac McWilliams, Andrew Mukuba, DeVonta Smith, Tyler Steen and Dontayvion Wicks.

Good News?

DeVonta Smith practiced in full and has no designation, which means he should be back on the field Sunday. Hollywood Brown and Wicks are also off the injury list for the game, so the receiver room is finally getting healthy. On defense, Greenard and Epps both went full and are good to go, which is a big boost after both missed London.

Bad News Everywhere Else for the Eagles

The Eagles are playing without their starting quarterback and their top three running backs. It’s Tanner McKee under center, and the backfield is down to Dameon Pierce, Carson Steele and Jaydon Blue.

Two of the three interior linemen who could help stabilize this offensive line, Dickerson and Kendall, are questionable after limited practices. Hunt is out and Epenesa is doubtful, so the edge rotation is thin again.

This is the most banged-up an Eagles team has looked in a long time, and it’s only Week 6. Smith coming back helps. Everything else is a mess.
