Sixers Fans Boo Halftime Show

WATCH: The Sixers were getting beat so badly that even the halftime show got booed into oblivion

Before the second half turned into one of the best comebacks you’ll see all season, the Sixers were getting absolutely embarrassed on Thursday night.

They went into the locker room trailing the Cavaliers 69-45 in the home opener, and the crowd at Xfinity Mobile Arena rightfully let them hear it.

Obviously, that’s nothing new in Philly, but every time it happens, it somehow turns into a national news story.

Philly fans booing their own team when it plays like garbage is not breaking news. It’s tradition. This city has been letting its players know when it expects better for as long as anyone can remember, and it’s exactly why the second half looked the way it did.

The Sixers weren’t the only ones who caught it at halftime.

The halftime entertainment was a guy covered in LED lights balancing a giant cube on his hand, and he got booed right off the floor along with the team.

Honestly? Good.

That’s not the kind of halftime show anybody in South Philly is paying for.

Cool, bro, you can balance a cube. With the Sixers down 24 at home, that might’ve been the only thing in the building that was worse than the first half. Unfortunately for him, he walked into the wrong building at the wrong time. That guy had it coming.
