The Liberty Yell Episode 137: The Young Guys Showing Up
The boys are back for another week of Flyers hockey.
This time a week ago, that sounded like a grave threat. Now? It’s still a threat, but on someone’s person rather than their life. Chief among the topics? The Flyers can’t score. We’re not convinced that they know you’re legally allowed to score goals.
The Liberty Yell Episode 137: The Young Guys Showing Up
The only guy who can score, Matvei Michkov, had one of the worst shifts of his career in overtime of the Columbus game that happened hours after we recorded but that lowlight of a shift aside, guess what? It doesn’t change a word of another thing we said… this team belongs to him and Porter Martone now.
It’s time for Danny Briere to recognize that. He keeps saying “the players will determine the timeline of the rebuild,” but fails to make that into a reality. The players DID determine the rebuild.
The rebuild is on the schedule of M&M.
