Game Recap: Flyers 4 Sharks 2

Your Philadelphia Flyers stay hot with a win against the visiting San Jose Sharks bringing their current win streak to 4 games. They remain in the 3rd spot in the Metropolitan division with 79 points, which is only 1 behind 2nd (Pittsburgh) and 5 behind the division-leading Capitals.

Joel Kelleman got the Sharks on the board first, but shortly after the NAK Attack got us moving at the end of the 1st with a Power Play goal. (JVR, Niskanen)

We were all tied up at the end of the 1st. Then the TK – Hayes show got us moving in the 2nd with Kevin Hayes notching his 20th goal of the year. (T. Konecny, S. Laughton)

Flyers are now 17-0-1 when Kevin Hayes scores

After that, Kevin Hayes with the softest of hands dishes to Konecny for his 22nd goal of the year.  (Hayes)

Hayes was not done yet notching his 21st goal of the year, and the second of the game. (Laughton, Konecny)

Noah Gregor pots his 2nd of the year for San Jose. Still 4-2 good guys.

The Flyers dominated most of this game, and it’s safe to say they are a legit contender to make some noise in the playoffs. Kevin Hayes and Travis Konecny both had 3 point evenings with Scott Laughton joining with 2 assists. Next for the Flyers is a home and home with long-time rivals the New York Rangers where the Flyers will try and remain scorching hot.

unfiltered, opinionated, and certainly do not care if you like it or not.
