As of last night, your Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers have won 49 of the possible 60 games played this season in the Wells Fargo Center.
The City of Brotherly Love has not only been one of the toughest places to play for as a player but one of the toughest places to play against. The energy that the Philadelphia fans bring to every home game is unmatched throughout the sports world. We’re so important that the Sixers can barely get by without us, going 9-29 on the road. The Flyers clock in at a slightly more respectable 14-15-3 on away ice.
On top of throwing snowballs at Santa, or hucking batteries at J.D Drew, the fans have always been there heckling and making opposing players and fans feel uncomfortable. But shit, even our own athletes aren’t safe at home games. (If they’re not rooting for the right team.)
