Game Recap: Flyers 0 Bruins 2

The Flyers’ 9 game winning streak was snapped after a 2-0 loss to the visiting Boston Bruins. Although they dominated most of the first two periods of this game, a late 2nd-period goal shifted the momentum the Bruins direction and they never looked back.

2nd Period:
The Bruins broke the tie on the powerplay late in the period to finally break the stalemate despite the Flyers dominating the first 40 minutes of play.
3rd Period:
Patrice Bergeron makes it 2-0 Bruins late in the period, which ended up being the nail in the coffin.
The Flyers had tons of chances early, but Tuukka Rask (covered in velcro) saved all 36 shots he faced. Happy Birthday I guess. It was a heck of a 9 games, it was bound to come to an end eventually.
They will look to start a new winning streak starting Thursday in Tampa Bay.
