Denzel Mims says the Eagles are one of the teams most interested in him

During a recent interview with ESPN 1660, Baylor WR Denzel Mims said that the Eagles are one of the main teams interested in him. This would make a ton of sense as Mims can play outside as well as in the slot. The Eagles have reportedly been looking for (as they should) speed in the draft and Mims would fit that as well, running a 4.38 40 time.

Mims is a very underrated prospect who can do it all. In his final year at Baylor, Mims caught 66 passes for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns. He is best known for his insane catch radius which makes him very effective in the red zone. At 6’3 and 206 lbs, Mims shows excellent speed for his size. Although Mims isn’t a polished product entering the draft, there is no reason that should give any team doubts regarding his ceiling as an NFL Wide receiver.
If the Eagles were to stay at the 21st pick, I believe Mims would be a great fit for this Eagles offense. After seeing numerous reports saying that the Eagles are going to draft two receivers, I would expect the Eagles to find a nice pairing to Mims. Two names that stick out to me in the later rounds would be Devin Duvernay from Texas or Van Jefferson from Florida. Those are two names I would keep an eye on as we get closer to the NFL Draft on April 23-25.
