Denzel Mims Takes a Shot at Philadelphia

On a recent Call of Duty Twitch stream, New York Jets rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims took a shot at the city of Philadelphia.
“I didn’t like that dirty ass trash ass city”
Good thing they passed on Mims. Hope he keeps that same energy. #Eagles pic.twitter.com/n65p0pDuzD

The Eagles were heavily linked to Mims as it was reported that multiple meetings took place. Mims seems to be a very promising prospect that can almost do it all at 6’3. In an interview with the Inside, the Birds Podcast Mims said he was “very scared” to visit Philly.
“I went with a couple teammates and my head coach. We went up there and just spent a lot of time together. And the experience I had, I was very scared. I wasn’t familiar with the whole city and, um, it was a lot going on. You see a lot of people that look scary. And, you know, I’m not part of that, I don’t like that. I mean, I had a bad experience, you could say, going up there that first time. But I feel like if I go there more and if I get familiar with it, I’ll have a great time.”
This quote became a big concern for Eagles fans heading into the draft and it appears that the Eagles made the right choice passing on him. I hope he has fun playing with a “trash ass” quarterback in Sam Darnold.
