And just over 10 minutes leader in the 38th minute the Union made it 3-0. Great teamwork again leads to a beautiful assist from the 19-year-old phenom Brenden Aaronson. Sergio Santos took the pass and put it home for his second goal of the game.

Heading into the half the Union were still in control, up two goals, but they still needed to play another half of good soccer.
Second Half:
To start out the half in the 49th minute, Sporting KC was awarded a free-kick. Alan Pulido looked to have his second goal but it hit the left post. In the 56th minute it looked like Sporting KC was going to cut the lead to 3-2, but who other than Union goalkeeper said no. Blake continues to have a great tournament and shows why he is the best goalie in the MLS.
Both teams had chances to score but neither could put one home. The Philadelphia Union win and advance to the Semi-Finals! The Union’s next game is on Wednesday, August 5th as they face the winner of Portland FC vs NYCFC.

Can’t watch the Semi-Finals?
Don’t worry we have you covered. Our good buddies over at Fox Sports The Gambler announced that they are the NEW HOME for Philadelphia Union Soccer. Gotta love it. Sean Brace and the rest of the crew over there are fantastic, and even have our guy Victor Williams locked in as an Eagles Insider for the upcoming NFL season.
