Alec Burks, 76ers defeat Magic 108-101.

Embiid and Harris started off slow, but both led the Sixers in scoring thanks to strong second-half performances. Alec Burks stole the show and put up his best performance in a Sixers uniform, and the 76ers beat the Orlando Magic 108-101 to move to 3-1 inside the bubble.
Burks, who was acquired in a February trade from the Golden State Warriors, finished with 22 points on 8-for-15 shooting including a game-high 3 three-pointers to go with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 turnover in 27 minutes. The backup point guard was a +12 and excelled in the pick-and-roll. The 22 points were the most he’s scored as a member of the 76ers.
🎥 A breakout night for Burks.

Tobias Harris had 23 points and 15 rebounds, Embiid locked in and got things moving in the second half and finished with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Al Horford had another solid performance off the bench, finishing with 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting.
Horford had this to say about Embiid’s 2nd half performance:
“In the second half, he just didn’t care what was going on, what they were throwing at him,” Horford said. “He was just going to dominate and be assertive. And when he has that mindset, all I can say is, `Good luck.”
The Sixers are back tomorrow evening against Portland, who is also 3-1 in the bubble and coming off a 125-115 win against Denver.

Other Notes:
Draymond Green needs to call Brett Brown and speak with him about Joel Embiid. Or maybe just take his job. Either works.
