Philadelphia Union vs New England Revolution FC

The Philadelphia Union take the field in the first game of regular season play since the pandemic. After making it to the semi-final round of the MLS is Back Tournament, the Union hope to continue to improve and make a run for their first-ever MLS Cup. As of now, there will be no fans present at these games, but things can change in the coming weeks.
New England Revolution Scouting Report
The Union are quite familiar with the Revolution from the round of 16 a few weeks back. After defeating the Revolution 1-0, Union striker Kacper Przybylko believes that they will be well prepared.
“You can always be well prepared if you look at the last game, how they played, and what their formation was. It helps coming into this game”.
Revolution’s star strikers Gustavo Bou and Adam Buksa are the players to watch out for tonight. A key part of their offense Carles Gil, will be out for a while after having surgery on his left Achilles. The team has many moving pieces and will have to be in sync when the Union comes into town tonight.
Union Players to Watch:
Andre Blake: Just like every other preview, Union goalie Andre Blake is a key piece of this Philadelphia Union squad. Blake has been outstanding since the return of the MLS, and I expect him to be the same tonight. Blake won the Golden Glove of the MLS is Back Tournament.
Brendan Aaronson: Aaronson has caught many scouts’ eyes and is rumored to have potential international transfer offers. Expect Aaronson to continue to play at a high level and make plays for the Union.
Prediction: Union Win 2-0
The Union are just the better team plain and simple. I expect the Union to start off the resumption of this season strong and be 1-0-0.

Can’t Watch?
Don’t worry we have you covered. Our good buddies over at Fox Sports The Gambler announced that they are the NEW HOME for Philadelphia Union Soccer. Gotta love it. Sean Brace and the rest of the crew over there are fantastic, and even have our guy Victor Williams locked in as an Eagles Insider for the upcoming NFL season.
