Philadelphia Union Dominate 4-1

The Philadelphia Union took the field in hopes of continuing their regular-season success and they did just that.
First Half:
In just six minutes the Union put one in the back of the net off of a nice corner kick. The goal was scored by who else other than Kacper Przybylko. It looks the striker has found his groove from 2019.

Just one goal wasn’t enough for Przybylko has he found the back of the net again 10 minutes later in the 16th minute. Another beautiful finish from the striker, this time just outside the 18-yard box.

When you thought two goals were enough for the first half the Union wanted to add another one. Yes, the Union scored again, this time Sergio Santos absolutely shot a rocket into the back of the net. Union goes up 3-0, only 21 minutes in.

The Union enters the half 3-0, in perhaps their best first half of play since the restart.
Second Half:
In the 61st minute, the hometown kid Brendan Aaronson scored off of a Przybylko cross into the box. The Union goes up 4-0 and this game is basically all but over.

In the 63rd minute, D.C. United was finally to get on the board, which ruined a chance at a Union clean sheet. The Union wins, 4-1 and now have a seven-game regular-season winning streak over D.C. United. They have outscored them 22-5. The Union has much confidence and head coach Jim Curtin showed it in the post-game press conference.
“We’re confident and it also needs to be said we’re good.”
The Union takes the field again on Wednesday, facing Columbus Crew SC in hopes to continue their strong start to the MLS regular season.
