Flyers lose Game 7 but the future is bright

Flyers got shutout last night in Game 7 against the New York Islanders, finally bringing an end to a wild season. It was a disappointing ending to a series in which the Flyers fell behind 3-1 and clawed their way back with a pair of overtime wins to force game 7.

The Future is in fact, bright:

  • Carter Hart – 22
  • Travis Konecny – 23
  • Ivan Provorov – 23
  • Phil Myers – 23
  • Travis Sanheim – 24
  • Oskar Lindblom – 24
  • Morgan Frost – 21
  • Joel Farabee – 20
  • Nolan Patrick – 21
  • Sean Couturier – 27
  • Shayne Gostisbehere – 27
  • Scott Laughton – 26

The Liberty Yell said it best:

First year under a new regime, Coots and Provy are going to be trophy winners, and if we can get big contracts off the books, (Voracek and JVR) we’ll have some room to add additional pieces during the short offseason.

Shoutout to the TLY boys – first year in the books for them covering the Flyers. Danny and Stumpo are incredible and we’re super lucky for them, and our girl Stevie Potter to be on board The Liberty Line covering the Flyers for us. Wouldn’t want anyone else or have it any other way.

Much like the Flyers, this is only the beginning for The Liberty Line / The Liberty Yell / Stevie. The window is wide open. Much more content to come.

Make sure you stay up to date on all things Flyers with The Liberty Yell. Follow / subscribe / rate 5-stars / shotgun a beer and tweet at them, whatever you gotta do.

unfiltered, opinionated, and certainly do not care if you like it or not.
