Flyers Prospect Elliot Desnoyers has 4 goal game

Chuck Fletcher traded the 202nd + 209th overall pick to go up and draft Elliot Desnoyers, a 5’10 LW who was traded to the Halifax Mooseheads by the Moncton Wildcats this year. So far, Chuck is looking pretty smart. Not really known for his offensive side of the game, Desnoyers has now been given an opportunity to play on the 1st line and take off. 12 points in the first 8 games is a pretty good start.
Here’s a nice thread of every goal from Desnoyers tonight.
In my draft recap article, I mentioned how if Desnoyers can find an offensive game to add to his already solid two-way game, Flyers might’ve found something. It’s encouraging to see Desnoyers continue his solid 2-way game while also scoring points in a top line role. While it’s still extremely early to start calling Desnoyers a steal or anything like that, there’s nothing wrong with being excited that he’s putting up these kind of numbers early in the season. Especially for a player that you got with the 135th overall pick. Consistency is key with young players, the QMHL is a competitive league. We’ll definitely be keeping our eyes on some more Halifax Mooseheads games.
