Philadelphia Union vs Chicago Fire Preview

The Philadelphia Union take the field Wednesday night at home, as the Chicago Fire come to town. The Union are coming off a huge 5-0 victory over Toronto F.C, and are looking to stay in first place in the Eastern Conference.
Chicago Fire FC Scouting Report
The Fire are currently in 11th place, and a win tonight would help them move into a playoff spot. However, they are playing in a place where the Union haven’t lost this season, Subaru Park.
It will be a very tough challenge for the Fire to come away with three points but they won’t let that discourage them. Fire head coach Raphael Wicky believes that his team can win big games on the road.
“Anyone can beat anyone here, which is very unique [and] doesn’t happen in other big leagues. We know that we can go away from home and we know that we can win games. We know that we have a good team and we can beat these teams. We haven’t shown it this year, but we have shown moments and we have games where we shouldn’t have lost away, and now it’s up to us to step up and go away from home and get a result.”
– Raphael Wicky
Prediction: 3-1 Union
I think the Union pick up another three points tonight and stay undefeated at home. The Fire won’t be an easy team to beat, but the Union are playing their best soccer right now.
