Three Eagles Wide Receivers Placed on the COVID-19 List

Philadelphia Eagles reporter Geoff Mosher has announced this afternoon that wide receiver J.J Arcega-Whiteside has tested positive for COVID-19. Two other wide receivers, John Hightower, and Dontay Burnett were placed on the COVID-19 along with Whiteside because they were considered “close contacts”. 

Of course, Eagles fans are already coming in with JJAW jokes, but we hope that he is okay and can recover quickly. 

This isn’t ideal heading into Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, but it means that Alshon Jeffery will need to step up in his second game back this year. As we hear any more information, we will be sure to post updates.
