Eagles promote Howard to active roster for Sunday

Yesterday, the Philadelphia Eagles announced they would be promoting running back Jordan Howard to the active 53 for tomorrow’s matchup vs the Green Bay Packers. Howard was signed to the practice squad a few weeks ago after being waived by the Miami Dolphins. He left Philadelphia in free agency last offseason.
Last year Howard dominated against the Packers rushing for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns. Hopefully Howard can return to that form and help the Eagles on the ground. Miles Sanders also ran for 72 yards on 11 attempts to help the Eagles to a 34-27 win. Sanders has had a fantastic season in 2020 but has only gotten 8 carries in the last game and a half for Philadelphia.
In his time with the Eagles in 2019, Howard rushed for 525 yards and 6 touchdowns. He was apart of the running back by committee group with Sanders and Boston Scott last season. His last active appearance was Week 9 for Miami against the Arizona Cardinals.
