Eagles Linebacker Coach Not Returning Next Season

Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL Radio has announced that the Philadelphia Eagles won’t be bringing back linebacker coach Ken Flajole. Flajole has been with the Eagles since 2016 and is very well respected around the league.
The linebacker group has been everything but great these past few years. Before having a season-ending injury, the Eagles “best” linebacker, Nate Gerry was graded as one of the worst in the league.
Since Jordan Hicks left, the Eagles have struggled to find starting linebackers. This year, they drafted two, and neither saw any valuable playing time this season. It’s clear that the Eagles don’t value the linebacker position and that must change.
With defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz also on his way out, it looks like Howie Roseman and this Eagles front office will have more jobs to fill.
