The Philadelphia Union has announced their 2021 pre-season schedule. The Union had their first day of training today and will be departing to Clearwater, Florida on March 12th pending medical clearances and physicals. They will then open the round of 16 of the 2021 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League in Costa Rica against Deportivo Saprissa on April 7th. The second leg will take place on April 14th back home at Subaru Park.

During their pre-season trip, the Union scheduled closed-door scrimmages at Joe DiMaggio Field. These will take place Monday, March 15th at 11:00 a.m. ET vs. Orlando City SC and Saturday, March 20th at 3:00 p.m. ET vs. Chicago Fire FC. The Union returns back home on March 24th, to train and play a third closed-door friendly, at Subaru Park on March 31st at 3:00 p.m. ET. Their opponent is TBD.
