Adam Haseley Injury Update and Today’s Phillies Lineup

Good news coming from Joe Girardi and the Philadelphia Phillies about Adam Haseley today ahead of their 4:05pm matchup against the Atlanta Braves.Haseley got the start in center field on Thursday but exited early after feeling tightness in his left hamstring. He was replaced in the eighth inning by Roman Quinn, who made a fantastic throw to cut down the go-ahead run for the Braves in the top of the 10th inning before Jean Segura hit a walk-off single in the bottom half of the inning to send the Phillies to the top of the NL East standings at 1-0.

Joe Girardi stated earlier today that Haseley’s reevaluation went well and that he will be available today off the bench for the Phillies and will be back in the starting lineup tomorrow against the Braves. Haseley, who missed most of Spring Training with a groin strain, returned the final week of camp to secure an Opening Day roster spot.

Good news for the Phillies, as they avoid making a decision on who to bring up from their 28 player roster pool. Odubel Herrera and Mickey Moniak were both possibilities, but now that Haseley is good to go, we can table that conversation for another day.

Today’s Lineup:

  1. Andrew McCutchen
  2. Rhys Hoskins
  3. Bryce Harper
  4. JT Realmuto
  5. Alec Bohm
  6. Didi Gregorius
  7. Jean Segura
  8. Roman Quinn
  9. Zack Wheeler

The Phillies enter today +1.5 with the total at o8 run total. Hammering both, as we do every single game. Only 161 to go. First pitch is at 4:05pm.
