Eagles showing interest in Louisiana Tech RB Israel Tucker

The Philadelphia Eagles backfield has its core but could make more additions during the 2021 NFL Draft. According to Pro Football Network, the Eagles are showing interest in Louisiana Tech running back Israel Tucker. Tucker is a late-round prospect that could help bolster Philadelphia’s running back position.
Tucker played four years with the Bulldogs, having received a bulk of the carries since 2018. In 2020, Israel had over 640 yards rushing with 4.3 yards per carry. During his pro day, Tucker had a 4.46 40-yard-dash and over a 38 inch vertical. The 5-9 back could grow nicely alongside Miles Sanders and company.
If the Eagles were to select Tucker, he would be the second Bulldog running back in the NFL. The other? Philadelphia’s own Boston Scott. Behind Sanders, Scott, and Howard, Tucker wouldn’t likely see much playing time in 2021 but could grow nicely on the practice squad and fill in if injuries occur during the season.
