Report: Eagles could trade back up into top 10

The Eagles could be on the move in the first round, again. Philly traded back from the sixth pick a few weeks back for a future first-round pick and other late-round selections.
This move could solidify the player they want and jump ahead of division rivals Dallas and the New York Giants. There have been reports saying the Eagles could be targeting a quarterback, but those looked to be late-round selections unless someone slips past where they were projected. When Tim McManus reported the news above regarding a QB move, he stated, “there is another shoe yet to drop.”
Moving up to say the ninth pick in a trade with the Denver Broncos could allow for the choice between Patrick Surtain, DeVonta Smith, and maybe Kyle Pitts if he somehow falls. The price to move up would likely cost the Eagles one of their thirds or a future second-round selection. This package is based on previous trades along the same lines.
There are only 13 days until the 2021 NFL Draft starts, and the Eagles hold a whopping 11 selections. It won’t be shocking at all to see if the Eagles package several of those picks to move up at any point during the draft.
