Philadelphia Union Draw in Columbus to start 2021 MLS Season

The Philadelphia Union started off their 2021 MLS season this afternoon, and their first up was the defending champions Columbus Crew. Both teams were coming off first-round victories in the CONCACAF Champions League and looked to continue that success into the start of this MLS Season. Two of the best teams in the MLS facing off made it a must-watch game for any MLS fans.
The game ended up being a battle of the goalkeepers with a combined total of 10 saves. Both Andre Blake and Eloy Room showed once again why they are the two best goalies in the MLS. Blake saved the game for the Union on a free-kick towards the end of the game.
The Union plays again back at home on Saturday, April 24th against Inter Miami. Don’t forget that you can always catch Union pregame and postgame coverage on Fox Sports The Gambler, the home of the Philadelphia Union and Liberty Line Radio.
