CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal Preview: Philadelphia Union vs Atlanta United

Tonight the Union play another historic game for the club as they take on Atlanta United in the quarterfinal of the CONCACAF Champions League. Coming off a draw against Columbus and a brutal loss in the home opener against Inter Miami, the Union aren’t playing the best soccer at the moment.
When? Tuesday, April 27th @ 8:00 PM Eastern
Where to Watch?

The best soccer we have seen from them so far was the last round of the Champions League against Saprissa. With that being said, Jim Curtin and the Union may just be focusing on the Champions League currently.
Poor play from the first two MLS games is concerning, as they face Atalanta United tonight. In past matchups, the Union have not done well vs Atlanta, so hopefully, they can change that. In seven meetings, the Union won once and tied twice. Only scoring one goal in their past two games, the Union needs to work on their attack. The best result tonight for the Union besides a win would be to at least walk away with a draw. If they draw, they will be able to have a chance to win this round back home at Subaru Park in the second leg.
Prediction 2-1 Atlanta United
Based on their past two games, I don’t have much confidence headed into the quarter-final round. The Union needs to turn things around fast if they want a chance at stealing an away win in the first leg. I think the Union put up a fight but in the end, Atlanta will be the better team tonight.
