Report: Eagles “love” Michigan DE Kwity Paye, could take him with 12th pick

In what would be the most upsetting selection for the Eagles at 12, Pro Football Network has said the Eagles are in love with Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye. Howie Roseman and company see Paye as nearly identical to current Eagles star Brandon Graham, who also played for the Wolverines.
During his time at Michigan, Paye had 10.5 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, and 59 solo tackles over 26 games. Taking Paye at 12 is not the best pick for the Eagles at 12 whatsoever between his measly production and underwhelming size. Paye stands at 6’4 compared to Graham, who is just 6’2. He could benefit from being a bit taller and having more muscle on his frame.
All of the potential first-round defensive linemen are very risky and have high boom or bust potential. Paye isn’t the first linemen linked to the Eagles. Last week uStadium reported that the Eagles were looking into Alabama DT Christian Barmore at 12. Hopefully, the Eagles can target someone like Jaylen Waddle or Jaycee Horn when on the clock on Thursday.
