Eagles looking into Alabama DT Christian Barmore at 12

There are only 11 days until the 2021 NFL Draft, and almost every position has been linked to the Philadelphia Eagles at 12. Just after rumors of possibly targeting a quarterback or running back in the first, uStadium is reporting the Eagles are looking into Alabama defensive tackle Christian Barmore.
Barmore has been gathering a lot of interest from teams in the top half of the first round, and some have him as the second-best defensive prospect behind Micah Parsons. Compared to other options going defensive line, especially tackle, makes no sense at 12. Philadelphia already has Fletcher Cox and Javon Hargrave, and even if they wanted to get younger, there are far bigger holes.
During his two seasons with the Crimson Tide, Barmore had 63 tackles, ten sacks, and 15 tackles for loss in 22 games. The talent is there and looks to be a prime nose tackle prospect, but Philly again already has a nose tackle in Hargrave. Nobody knows what the Eagles are up to in the upcoming draft, linked to almost every top prospect available. Be sure to stay tuned to The Liberty Line for all of your Eagles updates.
