76ers-Heat game Thursday flexed onto National TV

A late-season flex will have the 76ers play on national TV one more time before the playoffs. TNT announced that they would be flexing Thursday’s Heat-Sixers game due to potential playoff implications. The 76ers are just two wins away from clinching the first seed. They can do so with wins over both the Pacers and Heat. Tip-off is still slated for 7:30.
The 76ers have just four games remaining on their schedule, starting with Indiana tomorrow night. All of their other games left will be local broadcasts. Currently, Miami is in their own playoff seeding battle as well, sitting in sixth place and just one game out of the fourth seed.
This battle will be huge for the Sixers because they can knock Miami into the lower half of the bracket alongside clinching the first seed. In doing so, they would face either Atlanta or New York in the second round instead. Philly holds a record of 47-21 while the Nets trail in second place by three games.
