Kacper Przybylko the Lone Goal Scorer as the Union Win in D.C

The Philadelphia Union took the field last night in D.C as they looked to continue to climb up the Eastern Conference after a poor start to their MLS season. D.C United isn’t a great team, with a record of two wins and four losses, but the Union still had to play their best to make sure to walk away with three points.
In extra time of the first half the Union scored the only goal of the game. It was who else other than Kacper Przybylko with the goal, from a beautiful pass by Jamiro Monteiro.
Union goalie Andre Blake had another great night in the net, as he made seven saves and helped them secure three points. He continues to show why he is one of the best goalies in the league.
Along with Andre Blake, center back Jakob Glenses had his best performance of the season so far. If he can play with this consistentency, it would a huge boost to the Union’s defense following the departure of Mark McKenzie this past offseason.
With the win, the Union are 8-0-1 in their last nine meetings with D.C United. They are also the first team in the Eastern Conference to secure two road wins. The Union play again on Sunday as the Portland Timbers come to Subaru Park.
