76ers team plane breaks down, forced to bus back to Philly

As if nothing more could go wrong for the Philadelphia 76ers following their game four loss to the Washington Wizards last night. When the Sixers were preparing to take off last night, their plane broke down, and the team had to bus back to Philadelphia instead and did not get home until 6 AM this morning.
This isn’t the worst thing in the world, but following all the events from yesterday, it’s just the cherry on top. Between Doc Rivers and the media arguing over Ben Simmons and his free throw shooting and Joel Embiid’s injury, it was not an ideal outcome for Philadelphia.
Due to the late arrival, Joel Embiid has yet to be diagnosed with an exact injury. There was also no media availability which isn’t a surprise either. For those concerned with Joel, they shouldn’t worry about the delay of news. Every rumor and analysis says the injury isn’t significant, and the early exit was just precautionary. The 76ers are back in action tomorrow night, hosting the Washington Wizards at 7:00. It will be the first game this season that the Wells Fargo Center will be at full capacity.
