Philadelphia to lift all COVID restrictions, mask mandate starting June 11th

After lifting all restrictions on indoor seating last week, the city of Philadelphia has announced that they will be lifting all mask mandates starting tomorrow, June 11th. This announcement is a massive step in returning to normalcy for Philadelphia with this announcement. Back at the beginning of June, Pennsylvania stated they would lift the mask mandate when the state reached 70% vaccination or June 28th, whichever came first.
For the 76ers, they will likely follow suit with the announcement and not enforce masks when attending games. Previously when PA lifted capacity restrictions, Wells Fargo still had a mask mandate. In late May, the Phillies raised mask mandates when attending their games.
This change in policy won’t affect the 76ers until they return for Game Five of their series against the Atlanta Hawks next Wednesday. Meanwhile, they’re preparing for Game Three, which tips off tomorrow night at 7:30 on ESPN.
