Phillie Phanatic voted “Most Obnoxious Mascot” out of 27, does the city proud

A recent poll asked 2,000 fans to rate all 27 mascots in Major League Baseball on a scale of 1-5. The results were recently released, and I honestly could not be happier with the results.
The Phillie Phanatic ranked in the middle of the pack for league-wide likeability, which is more than okay with me. 90% of mascots in MLB are directly inspired by the Phanatic, cementing his legacy as the greatest mascot of all time.
Clocking in at 12th-best mascot in the league is nothing but the product of jealousy and getting fed up with the Phanatic’s antics as an opposing fan, nothing more. In fact, the survey also polled the fans to see who they found to be the most obnoxious, and the Phillie Phanatic took the top spot.

Damn right he is. That fuzzy green bastard from parts unknown loves ruffling feathers; it’s part of his charm! He’s a ballbuster. He’s unfortunately limited in what he can do because of the pandemic, but as things go back to normal, you can expect him to be messing with opposing players and coaches just like the old days.
Of course, they had to see how much fans liked their own mascots, and there was no surprise the Phillie Phanatic ranked highly among Philadelphians. Phillies fans rated the Phanatic as the best mascot in MLB more than any fanbase did for their mascot. Of course, they did! Who doesn’t love the Phanatic?
Just know, if you run into the Phanatic in the parking lot, don’t bother the legend. You might just get big-leagued.
