Seth Curry defends Ben Simmons, wishes to play with him again

While some of Ben Simmons’ teammates have criticized his performance this postseason, 76ers guard Seth Curry defended him following their elimination to the Atlanta Hawks. Seth Curry spoke with Jeff Skversky about Ben and the 76ers’ season recently and had this to say when talking about him.

“I love playing with Ben… He’s still a great player. He obviously had a rough playoffs… I look forward to playing with him again.”

While Curry jumped to Ben’s defense, Ben’s brother and shooting coach Liam Simmons went to Twitter to criticize Joel Embiid, Doc Rivers, and the 76ers for not defending Ben and throwing him under the bus. Danny Green stated Ben Simmons wouldn’t improve unless forced to a few weeks ago on his podcast.

Seth Curry was phenomenal for the 76ers this postseason, and hopefully, he will be around the city for several seasons to come. It is unknown if Simmons will be returning to the 76ers with several trade rumors floating around including teams like Cleveland, Indiana, and Minnesota.
