Phillies Roster Moves and Tonight’s Starting Lineup against Braves

Odubel Herrera will be returning from the 10-Day IL tonight against the Atlanta Braves. In a corresponding move, the Phillies will option Nick Maton back to Triple A Lehigh Valley. Philly just lost two straight in New York to the Yankees, falling back to .500 on the season with a 47-47 record. To say this series against the Atlanta Braves is a big one would be an understatement.
Good news though, it looks like the x-rays on Bryce Harper turned out in his favor. He’s in the starting lineup tonight in right field. Travis Jankowski will remain in centerfield, while Andrew McCutchen will get the night off and give left field to Herrera. JT Realmuto will also get the night off with Andrew Knapp behind home plate.
Phillies need to get things rolling. The Braves and Nationals stand between them and the trade deadline. Time to go on a run and there’s no better time than against two division rivals.
Ring it.
