Dallas Goedert named 10th best tight end in Madden 22

Over the last few days, EA Sports has been releasing the top ratings across the NFL for Madden 22. Yesterday, Fletcher Cox was rated the second-best DT in the league while EA wasn’t as kind to Jalen hurts and DeVonta Smith. This morning, Madden released the top-10 rated tight ends, and while Dallas Goedert did appear, his rating was disappointing.
Goedert was listed as the 10th best TE in Madden with an 84 overall. Some of the names listed ahead of Dallas include Mike Gesicki and Rob Gronkowski. Compared to last season, Dallas Goedert has gone up three overalls from his 81 in Madden 21. The low rating is likely due to Goedert’s injury-riddled 2021 season, playing in just 11 games. Despite that, Dallas was just 100 yards receiving behind Gronk, who played all 16 games.
More Madden ratings will be released throughout the week, with the full release on Friday. For the Eagles, the team is getting their season started today with their first training camp practice.
