Fletcher Cox rated the second best DT in Madden 22

Heading into the 2021 season, Fletcher Cox is still considered one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL. EA Sports continues to release ratings throughout the week for their upcoming Madden 22. A few Eagles have already been announced, including Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith. To start Madden 22, Fletcher Cox will be a 94 overall and is the second highest-rated DT behind Aaron Donald, who is a 99 overall.
Across the entire defensive line, Cox is the 4th highest rated linemen, tied with TJ Watt, Chandler Jones, and JJ Watt. Ahead of Fletcher Cox is Myles Garrett with a 98 and Khalil Mack, who’s a 96 overall. For the last two Maddens, Cox has been the highest-rated Eagle with a 96 overall and will likely still hold the top spot this season.
Over the next three days, Madden will release the top ratings for running backs, safeties, and quarterbacks before revealing the whole roster at the end of the week. If you want to grab your copy of Madden 22, they’re available for pre-order now and releases on August 17th.
