5 more Eagles added to injury list during today’s practice

The Eagles’ injury list continues to build and build just days before their preseason opener on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. While names like JaCoby Stevens and several others have joined in the last few days, there are new additions to the list this morning.
Ryan Kerrigan suffered a hand injury last week during camp, and there had been no word about the injury until today. Kerrigan underwent surgery on his hand but luckily will miss just 7-10 days before returning. Kerrigan is listed as the Eagles’ backup defensive end in the unofficial depth chart released earlier.
On the other side of the football, left tackle Andre Dillard left today’s practice with an injury, but there has been no word on exactly what it was. According to Reuben Frank, Dillard was hobbling after a 1-on-1 rep and went into the blue tent and into NovaCare afterward, not being seen since.
Safety K’Von Wallace has also gone to the tent this morning with an unspecified injury. Wallace has been the starting safety while Rodney McLeod recovers from a torn ACL. Fellow defensive back Craig James is in a boot being listed as day-to-day while UDFA WR Michael Walker was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury.
Dillard has been in a crucial battle for the starting left tackle position and even a roster spot, but his outlook looked gloomy even before today. Jordan Mailata has been dominant, but hopefully, Dillard will be healthy enough to get a decent shot in the upcoming preseason games.
