Flyers announce 2021 Development Camp starts on August 28th

Flyers hockey is going to be back sooner than you thought. Today, the Philadelphia Flyers announced that their rookie development camp will take place on August 28th through September 1st at their training center in Vorhees, New Jersey. Philly will have 29 players in total attend, 20 of them being draft picks.

Notable names participating in the camp include Tyson Forester, Morgan Frost, Samu Tuomaala, Cam York, and several others. This camp will allow for Alain Vigneault to get a chance to see his most recent draft class on the ice ahead of the 2021 season.

A few weeks following the development camp, Flyers training camp will be getting underway, likely starting around mid-September. Phillyโ€™s first preseason game is exactly one month from the start of the rookie camp on September 28th against the New York Islanders.
