76ers release their schedule for the 2021/2022 season

The NBA season is just around the corner. Earlier this afternoon, the Philadelphia 76ers released their schedule for the upcoming 2021/2022 NBA season. Despite the Sixers playing the Brooklyn Nets during opening week on October 22nd, they will open their season in New Orleans against the Pelicans on October 20th.
The 76ers 2021/2022 schedule:

Just over a week after facing the Nets, Philly will host the Atlanta Hawks in an Eastern Conference Semi-Final rematch on October 30th. Some other games to have circled include when the Sixers host the reigning champs, the Milwaukee Bucks, on November 9th. Dwight Howard will make his return to Philadelphia with the Los Angeles Lakers on January 27th.
The 76ers will close out their 82 game season on April 10th at home against the Detroit Pistons. Some tough stretches for the Sixers include a six-game road trip in November when they travel to face the Pacers, Jazz, Nuggets, Trail Blazers, Kings, and Warriors.
In total, the 76ers will have 16 games on national television this season, with seven occurring over a month stretch towards the end of the season. It’ll be interesting to see how the players adapt to the return of an 82-game season for the first time in over two years.
