Nick Sirianni gives update on Landon Dickerson and Rodney McLeod

Some familiar faces look like they’re on track to return very soon for the Philadelphia Eagles. According to Nick Sirianni, Landon Dickerson and Rodney McLeod are currently considered week-to-week for the Eagles. Both players are recovering from torn ACLs, and this is the first time this season a time estimate has been given regarding their return. Landon Dickerson tore his ACL in December just three days after McLeod did. The two are not on the participation report due to them already being on the PUP list.
Looking at the entire injury report, Shaun Bradley, Fletcher Cox, Andre Dillard, Jason Huntley, Craig James, and Ryan Kerrigan are all listed as limited for today. Kerrigan has been making his return from hand surgery, and it’s nice to see him back at full health.
While the list is long, the good news is a majority of these guys should be back in the next few days. Looking at day-to-day, Genard Avery, Derek Barnett, and K’Von Wallace round out the list with Wallace still battling that groin injury. Davion Taylor is still week-to-week, and Tyree Jackson is on the rare month-to-month list.
Currently, the Eagles are going through joint practices with the New York Jets ahead of their preseason finale on Friday. Despite all these injuries, the Eagles’ defense has looked tremendous, and it’ll be exciting to see the entire starting group against the Falcons week one. If Landon Dickerson is able to return by the season opener, it would be a huge boost to Philly’s offensive line depth.
