You know who absolutely sucks? Well, pretty much everyone but I’m going to focus on the Twitter gatekeepers that like to criticize people for having a good time. While the majority of these people sat at home on Sunday, watching videos wishing they were invited to an Eagles tailgate, the rest of us were down in South Philadelphia for the Eagles home opener. Yes, the game sucked, but being back in the parking lots before an Eagles game for the first time in what felt like a million years, was a fantastic feeling. There wasn’t a sad face anywhere to be found, as we reconnected with tailgate friends of years past after being forced to sit at home last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Of course, the no fun police online had to come out of their basements to start ripping a TikTok video that was going around of girls tailgating at the birds game, and not knowing who the Eagles were playing. It started with Barstool Philly, a Barstool Sports account run by people who do not live in Philadelphia, sharing the video.

It continued with popular Eagles accounts such as “Eagles Nation” saying that the video was “not a good look” failing to realize the irony in their tweet.

The replies are stupid. People are “cringing” over this video? Really? You got dudes in here saying a bunch of weird ass shit in the replies as well. These are the people who suck. Not the girls in the video.

Here’s an idea: mind your business. It’s not that serious. Some people just like to have a good ass time and choose not to sit at home and be miserable.

All I see in this video is a bunch of people having a good time and enjoying a beautiful September day out with friends and family while having a few drinks. Does anyone really care about this TikTok video and how it makes Eagles fans look? If you do, then please, take a step back, maybe put down your phone and relax.

This is horrible? Oh my god what a wonderful life you must live to think that this is just the worst thing you’ve ever seen online. There’s two things that happen on NFL Sundays in South Philadelphia. There is the tailgate, which is a social event where people go to have a good time, hangout, drink, and eat food, and then there is a football game. Understand the difference.

William J Mason is infuriated because these girls are taking up space? The comments go on and on. Sit down gatekeepers. We are partying all football season long, whether you know who the Eagles are playing or not. There was plenty of space in the parking lots. Everyone is always invited. They woke up, went down to South Philadelphia with smiles on their faces ready to have a good time. Leave them alone you weirdos.
