Ben Simmons would rather sit out for a year than rejoin the 76ers

Finally, a Ben Simmons report I can get behind. After being a no-show for 76ers Media Day and now the first few days of 76ers Training Camp, the dumb reports from Ben Simmons’ camp started to get super pathetic. There was even one yesterday where Ben Simmons said that he wanted to play on a team that was built around him and he didn’t want to play with Joel Embiid because Embiid didn’t fit his style. Now, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, Ben Simmons is will to sit out for a year rather than rejoin the 76ers.
There you go, Ben. Finally a report that I can agree with you on. For a player that signed a max contract, that has four years left, there’s really only one option for you anyways, and that is to sit out for a year, or two, or maybe even three or four, and realize that you’re a sad little loser that no one in the NBA should ever want to play with again.
Ben Simmons can sit in California for the next four years for all I care. Maybe then he’ll realize that Klutch Sports has led him down one of the worst paths I’ve ever witnessed a professional athlete take. The 76ers need to remain strong and refuse to trade him. Set an example for the entire NBA that you can’t just sign max contracts and then demand to be traded while taking absolutely zero accountability for your own actions.
Ben Simmons gets $16 million from the 76ers on October 1st. Enjoy the money, buddy. I don’t care about it in the slightest. Just don’t plan on playing NBA basketball until you come back to Philadelphia. You’re not in charge of anything and hopefully, the 76ers let you waste the prime years of your basketball career by not trading you while you play the blame game for not shooting a basketball.
I was the biggest Ben Simmons supporter out there. I was one of the last remaining people on his side and defended him until there was literally nothing left to defend. Now? I just think Ben Simmons is a loser. He’s the softest professional athlete in the history of sports. I want nothing more than for him to sit out for years to come instead of shooting a basketball.
Think about this. You have an NBA basketball player, who is an All-Star and All-NBA Defensive player, a point guard on a team that was the number one seed in the East, who now refuses to rejoin his team all because he’s scared to shoot a basketball during a game. Now, this player (Ben Simmons) with his cocky agent (Rich Paul) think they can call the shots, while actually not taking any shots on the court? I don’t think so. Hopefully the 76ers agree with me.
Maybe we’ll see you soon, Benjamin. Maybe not. I certainly don’t care. Enjoy California you loser.
