Lane Johnson Expected to Miss Another Week Due to A Personal Matter

A couple of hours before last week’s game, it was announced that Lane Johnson would not be playing due to a personal matter. Johnson went back to his home state of Oklahoma this past week, and according to NBC’s John Clark, he only returned to the NovaCare Complex on Thursday. Clark also revealed that the Eagles sent their head of security Dom DiSandro to bring Johnson back to Philly.
As we should all know by now, Lane Johnson is not one to miss games and has often played through injuries. This situation is very serious for him, and, understandably, he is missing time. It is all but confirmed that Johnson will be out again this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. For now, Jack Driscoll is taking his place, and he’s doing a solid job. We would all love to see Lane back on the field, but personal situations will always come first. Hopefully, next week he will be set to return, but only time will tell.
