Antoine Walker talks Ben Simmons, is either blind or lazy

Is Antoine Walker blind or just lazy? That’s the question of the day after a clip from First Things First surfaced online where Walker clearly has no idea what he’s talking about. The Philadelphia 76ers held practice number two yesterday with Ben Simmons. If you were on Twitter yesterday, you know already it didn’t exactly go well.
Simmons was seen in the back of this video when the 76ers huddled to wrap practice and caused a huge debate on whether or not he was actually a part of the team huddle.
It’s definitely possible at the end of the video, that Simmons did throw his hand up on the person in front of him but honestly, when you stop and think about it, Ben Simmons is under a heavy media microscope right now and should know that every move is being watched. At least pretend like you want to be there.
We all saw the video clips from the faces he was making while participating in practice. From there, we all saw “Cell Phone Gate” where everyone online became detectives, including myself, on whether or not Simmons was carrying around a cell phone in his pocket while on the floor. (I don’t think it was a cell phone).
Back to the First Things First clip. Antoine Walker was commenting on the 76ers practice yesterday and literally questioned Ben Simmons work ethic, then continued by saying that he was wearing an LSU shirt. Watch:
This dude is either blind, lazy and didn’t watch a second of the clip, or has a clear agenda against Ben Simmons and the 76ers. First of all, Ben Simmons hated LSU and rarely speaks or talks about his time there outside of the documentary he did with Showtime while he was in school there. Second of all, social media has been flooded relentlessly with Ben Simmons pictures at practice yesterday. How did someone not realize that saying he was wearing an LSU was just flat out wrong? This might be the dumbest thing I have ever watched in my entire life.
This is exactly what Draymond Green was talking about with The Ringer yesterday. The media stinks. Antoine Walker is a total moron. Regardless, Simmons will be speaking with the media at 11:30am. I wouldn’t expect anything of substance but as we all know, it’s been really hard to predict whatever is going on with Simmons and the Sixers.
[…] This is a quote from Emmanuel Acho when talking about Ben Simmons yesterday on Speak for Yourself. If you’re wondering what in the world Emmanuel Acho is talking about, I assure you, that I am too. It’s one of the dumbest takes you’ll ever hear but as we all know, that should be expected by now when the national media comments on something they know nothing about. […]
