Zach Ertz thanks Philly, Eagles fans in full page Inquirer ad

As we all know, Zach Ertz was traded last week to the Arizona Cardinals. In return the Eagles acquired CB Tay Gowan and a 5th-round pick from the Cardinals. You can read more about Tay Gowan here. Ertz spoke with the media last week in an emotional press conference and thanked the city of Philadelphia for the time he spent here. On Sunday, it was pretty hard to see Ertz on the sidelines with the Cardinals in Cleveland wearing red and white instead of midnight green, but all good things must come to an end. Today, Ertz released a full page ad in the Philadelphia Inquirer thanking Philadelphia.
Rob Tornoe tweeted out a picture of the ad. Check it out:

Zach Ertz is the definition of a class act. he loved the city of Philadelphia and gave everything he had on and off the field. You might not realize it now, but we were alive to watch one of the greatest Philadelphia Eagles ever. I’m glad we traded him to an undefeated Arizona Cardinals team. Hopefully, he will be able to win another Super Bowl and return home to play a few more games for the Eagles, become the franchise leader in receptions, and retire one of the best tight ends to ever play the game.
Ertz will be eligible to play for the Cardinals this weekend. Here’s another cool thing about the Ertz family:
Cheers to the Ertz family. Thanks for everything.
