Zach Ertz spotted wearing Eagles gear during Cardinals practice

Even though he’s in Arizona now, Zach Ertz hasn’t forgotten his roots. Earlier today, the Cardinals social media team tweeted out some photos of their latest acquisition practicing with the team. In one of the photos, you can see that Ertz is still wearing Philadelphia Eagles wristbands.
Ertz was traded to the Arizona Cardinals last Friday for Tay Gowan and a 5th round draft pick. The veteran tight end wanted to be moved for quite some time but was still emotional in his exit press conference. Yesterday the Philadelphia Inquirer ran a full-page thank you from Zach Ertz to the city of Philadelphia.
It’s no shock that it was a bittersweet exit for the longtime Eagles tight end. Ertz will be considered one of the greatest tight ends in franchise history and will likely retire an Eagle when the time comes. Zach Ertz will likely make his debut on Sunday when the Cardinals host the Houston Texans. Meanwhile, the Eagles are traveling out west to Las Vegas to face the Raiders.
