Eagles among Top-5 most hated franchises in the NFL

No one likes us….we don’t care? A recent study that BetOnline conducted shows that the Philadelphia Eagles are among the Top 5 most hated franchises in the NFL. The study looked at Twitter posts over the last six weeks and the preseason. The analysis proved to be pretty in depth and according to the research, people simply do not like the Eagles.

Of course, the four states that hate the Philadelphia Eagles are in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas. Those states are essentially Dallas Cowboys country so that shouldn’t come as a surprise. I’m actually more surprised that Pennsylvania isn’t included on that list. No one hates the Philadelphia Eagles more than Eagles fans. My entire Twitter timeline during an Eagles game is an absolute war zone. There’s no one happy with anything going on with the birds this season.

It’s tough to like the Eagles when you literally have zero linebackers and a head coach that refuses to run the football. I also don’t understand why Florida hates the Patriots? They took Tom Brady and Gronk and just won a Super Bowl. If anything, I would think the Patriots were one of the most liked teams in Florida?

For the rest of the NFC East, neither the New York Giants nor Washington Football Team was listed, with the Buccaneers, Packers, and Raiders rounding out the top five. I know Philly fans embrace the hate, but it was no surprise which states disliked them the most. The Eagles are back in action on Sunday afternoon, traveling to Las Vegas to face the Raiders.
