Pick Tracker: A perfect weekend for the Philadelphia Eagles

This weekend couldn’t have gone any better for the Philadelphia Eagles. Alongside a dominant victory over the Detroit Lions, both the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins suffered another loss. Miami lost on the road to their division rival, Buffalo, 26-11. Meanwhile, Carson Wentz choked in the clutch, losing to the Tennessee Titans in overtime.
Currently, the Eagles hold the 3rd, 8th, and 9th picks in the 2022 NFL Draft, which is likely to hold form with the exception of possibly the Colts. Indy still has the Jaguars twice, the Jets and Houston Texans remaining on their schedule. For Carson Wentz, per @WentzSnaps on Twitter, he has played 47% of his expected snaps this season.
Just 28% remain until the first-round pick conveys to the Eagles, and it shouldn’t be an issue if they win like expected against New York and Jacksonville in the next two weeks. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are headed into a bye week and face the Houston Texans in a crucial game for draft placement in week ten.
The Eagles had a huge win but face a challenging opponent this upcoming week in the Los Angeles Chargers. But following that, their schedule gets far easier, playing every NFC East team and the New York Jets.
Tuesday is the NFL’s trade deadline, and it doesn’t seem like a Deshaun Watson trade is occurring with the Miami Dolphins, so it’s likely that pick will remain where it is currently. Philadelphia is also in the trade market, but it’s unknown if they’re buyers or sellers just yet.
