Phillies No. 11 Prospect hits two doubles in Arizona Fall League, earns Top Performers honors

Bryson Stott has been dominating the Arizona Fall League for the Peoria Javelinas. He has led the Javelinas throughout the fall league this season, notching a .409 batting average with an OPS of 1.085. Over the weekend, Stott tallied five RBI on three hits with two runs scored in Javelinas 16-13 victory. Yesterday, another Phillies prospect earned a spot on the top AFL Prospect Performers list.

The Philadelphia Phillies 23rd round draft pick in 2018, Logan O’Hoppe (C), had himself a day yesterday. He hit two doubles, drew two walks, and scored two runs in Peoria’s 15-15 tie with Mesa. With the performance at the plate, O’Hoppe raised his AFL average to .318 on the season. In the minor league’s last season, O’Hoppe moved up the ladder from Jersey Shoe to Lehigh Valley. Most of his time was in Jersey Shore, playing 83 games for the Claws before playing 13 in Reading, and six with the IronPigs. On the season, O’Hoppe finished with a .270 batting average and a .789 OPS, while hitting 17 home runs and 58 RBI.
The Phillies also have Simon Muzziotti (CF) and pitching prospects James McArthur and Hans Crouse all playing in the Arizona Fall League as well. O’Hoppe and Simon Muzziotti both went 2-4 yesterday with two walks in AFL action O’Hoppe is hitting .318 overall and Muzziotti isn’t far behind at .293.
